She beat off her nearest rival Lana Del Rey, who climbed a place to second position with Born To Die, while last week's number one Jack White fell two to three with Blunderbuss.
Norah Jones scored the second highest new entry of the week with Little Broken Hearts at four, while Adele completed the top five with long-runner 21.
Olly Murs, Jessie J and Emeli Sandé each climb a place to six, seven and eight respectively, with Nicki Minaj dropping six spots to ten with Roman Reloaded.
