A great year full of good music comes to an end, it's time to look back on 2013, a year where the people went completely crazy to the 'Harlem Shake', a naked lady sat on a 'Wrecking Ball' and everyone wonders how does 'The Fox' say. Biggest success of the year was clearly Robin Thicke feat. Pharrell Williams' 'Blurred Lines', which gets massive 11.631.000 points in its 35 weeks on the tally. It's the biggest frame for a year-end no.1 since 1997 and it's the first time since 1961 that an act occupied the first two slots of the YEAR-END CHART: the specatcular resurrection of Pharrell Williams! 1961 Elvis Presley ruled the chart with 'Are You Lonesome Tonight?' and 'Surrender', this year Pharrell Williams tops with 'Blurred Lines' and 'Get Lucky', his collaboration with Daft Punk. The latter ranks at no.2 on this year's countdown with 9.065.000 points. On the ALL TIME CHART 'Get Lucky' climbs at no.88 and 'Blurred Lines' reaches no.17, so it's now the third most successful track of the 21st century, behind Adele's 'Rolling in The Deep' at no.11 with 11.969.000 points and Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling' at no.8 with 13.044.000 points. Gay rapper Macklemore and music producer Ryan Lewis were big stars this year, their first smash 'Thrift Shop' held the top position of the year-to-date chart for months and now at the end of the year it ranks at
no.3 with 8.646.000 points. The follow-up 'Can't Hold Us' placed not far behind at no.7 with 6.725.000 points. Only 3.000 points behind 'Thrift Shop' lands the 24 year-old Swedish DJ and record producer Avicii at no.4. His 'Wake Me Up!' was one of the biggest chart sensations this year and is one of the most successful club tunes of all time.
